McNab Community holds several events on an annual basis. Specific dates and time are posted on Facebook and website Home Page as the events near their dates.
Bi-Annual Yard & Neighbourhood Cleanup
Date & Time: Typically May and October.
Where: Meet at the Ice Shack in McNab Park
Twice a year McNab community asks volunteers to come out and help walk and clean our streets as well as give an opportunity for residents to throw out large items they may have around their yard. The number of Loraas Bins provided is based on previous demand and history.
We are unable to accept appliances or hazardous materials such as propane tanks or oil.
We ask everyone to keep our neighbourhood as neat and clean as possible. Many items such as chesterfields, chairs, etc. left outside can attract rodents which we do not want in our community.
If you see abandoned items in the back alleys please call the City of Regina at 777-7000 and ask them to pick up these items.
Picnic In The Park
Date & Time: Typically beginning of June.
Where: Ice Shack @ McNab Park
Come meet your neighbours at our annual Picnic in the Park. Hotdogs and hamburgers, side, dessert, and beverage are served for a small cost. McNab also tries to include activities or entertainment at this event.
Garden Pots on 11th Avenue
Date & Time: Planted in Early June and contest Late July
Where: Meet at Baseball Diamond @ McNab Park
Volunteers plant and maintain the flower pots lining McNab Park along 11th Avenue. Cost of the plants/flowers is covered by McNab Community up to a certain value. Email mcnabca@sasktel.net or attend a meeting if you are interested in adopting a pot. In late July, there is a contest/judging of the pots followed by a social.
